As a story editor I work directly with the team of journalists across the Africa region to craft pitches and stories. I edit stories, attend pitch meetings and engage with the regional and global teams regularly on everything from audience engagement to Duty of Care.

Africa Editor at Quartz; Author of two mystery novels (Dance of the Monkeys and Of Goats and Poisoned Oranges); Communication advisor to The Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Presidential Center, Dalberg Advisors, Open Society Initiative of West Africa, and The Africa Agriculture and Trade Investment Fund

Bachelor of Science in Management from MIT with a minor in Urban Planning and another in Applied International Studies

Speaks English, Swahili, and French and has traveled to 56 countries, 23 of them in Africa.
