Kenichi Serino has been an editor for Global Press Journal since 2019. Kenichi is a journalist and media trainer who has worked in Southern Africa, the Caribbean and the United States. He has been a community reporter, a wire hack, a feature writer and is currently the managing editor of the St. Kitts and Nevis Observer. He has written for publications such as The Atlantic, the Christian Science Monitor, Quartz, The Nation and Al-Jazeera. As a trainer, Kenichi has taught student journalists at the postgraduate level at the University of Witwatersrand and is presently a mentor in the Aspen New Voices Fellowship program.
