Michelle Swenson

Michelle works with social enterprises as an advisor and investor. She spent most of her earlier corporate career as a senior executive at Charles Schwab & Co. Inc. where she built businesses, developed products and led strategic planning, marketing and technology functions. She has also led marketing for a financial services/technology startup and been executive director of a nonprofit. Today, she supports leading social entrepreneurs through the Ashoka Support Network and chairs the It’s Time Network-Bay Area, Steering Committee. She is a member of Women’s Donor Network (where she focuses on reproductive justice and values-based investing) and Caridad Partners, and sits on non-profit boards. She has degrees from Duke University and the University of California, Berkeley.
