Global Press Journal senior reporter Merveille Kavira Lungehe was awarded the Certificate of Merit at the territorial level for her long-term coverage of Lubero Territory. As one of the few journalists in the region, Merveille's coverage has transformed local and global understanding of the conflict in the region for nearly a decade.
